Corporate social responsibility has become a form of corporate self-regulation integrated into a business model. We at Maiestas follow a broad CSR policy where it helps us to functions through a self-regulatory mechanism whereby we monitor and ensure its active compliance with the spirit of the law, ethical standards and international norms. To us implementation of CSR goes beyond compliance and engages us to undertake actions that appear to further some social good, beyond the interests of the firm. Our CSR aims to embrace responsibility for corporate actions and to encourage a positive impact on the environment and stakeholders including consumers, employees, investors, communities, and others. We are mindful of our responsibility to return the value we create through our business to the community.
Over the years, we have initiated and supported various social, environmental and community projects. We adopt a holistic approach for sustainable long-term growth for the benefit of people in the areas of our operations. Our signature efforts include community programmes at K. Nuagan, Chikiti Block of Ganjam district in Odisha where Maiestas Group has provided high-speed internet connectivity to rural villagers free of cost. We have also provided infrastructural support to the Sebati Seva Sadan, a free health providing hospital. We are also providing financial as well as technical support to more than 20 SHGs at Chikiti through Center for Integrated Sustainable Development, a NGO working on sustainable development.
